Meaning of crows on a power line tattoo?

I am interested in getting a tattoo of crows on a power line across my collar bones. To me it signifies the reminder that people are always watching and that most people follow trends and crowds. Does anyone have another interpretation of this possible tattoo? Should I go forth with getting it done?

I already have a tattoo on my leg of a little boy writing with a Quill. The quill is extends large then he and turns into birds flying away.

It's a symbol of freedom. Unlike us humans that get wrapped up in occupations and social situations, the bird can go anywhere and do what it wants.

The words of Leonard Cohen 1969:

"Like a bird on the wire
Like a drunk in a midnight choir
I have tried in my way to be free"
