Minecraft xbox 360: My slimes are despawning

Hi I made a slime farm in minecraft 1.8.2, and slimes are there one min then the next go I bk and they aint :/ can some one help me, it says in 1.8.2 they dont despawn but mine are

If you get far enough from them, they will despawn.
