Why is it said in chemistry that there is no change in temperature when water boils?

Please heip me, it's very crucial for me to know the real answer.

my teacher said it is because duting the water is boiling.....
temperature rise....so...when it is in boiling point no temparature change ....
this is also bcause the boiling point of water is 100 degree celcius...
