Why on keystone dis does the numpad minus key tabs to next field?

We use keystone dis for POS and other lookups. When entering part numbers that contain a hyphen the numpad minus key will enter the hyphen but then tab to the next field on the form. Why does this happen on certain computers and not others? Is there a way to change this?

Make sure it's not a Num Lock issue. You should be able to set the Num-Lock boot up configuration to either ON or OFF in the BIOS.
