My passenger door wire harness needs to be changed help!

my passenger door in my 96 civic ex coupe power window wont roll down and the speakers on that side dont work I want to change the connector in between the door and the fender area can I use the connector out of a 4 door or does it have to be 2 door cuz I got a 4 door one and the wire match up except for 2 when I hooked it all up nothing work if I just pull those wires out would it work still?

Most auto parts stores sell repair manuals or you can order them online by searching "Haynes Manual" or "Chilton Manual." You can buy a manual for that specific make and model. The manual will have wiring schematic drawings that will show what the wires are for. If you drive an old vehicle, (I do also), those manuals are very valuable to keep them on the road.
