History 101

How do you explain the disfranchisement of southern blacks during the 1890's? What measurements did whites enact to prevent blacks from voting. Please can someone respond in 300 words or more; as well as have a reference. Thank you.

Well if Abe lincone was alive people would be allowed to vote because they have Rights for them self.
