I need to register my sims 2 but cannot do it through electronics

to download extra's to the sims 2 , you need to register the game but the electronic Arts inc is not allowing me to do it through the internet and is asking me to do it manually , so the have asked me to go to technical support but the webpage is blank and it had a link to to this webpage. so im just asking how do you register the sims 2 ?

they have stopped support for sims 2. now its only for sims 3. but their is a link for it on sims 3 help cause I always play sims
