CamStudio - where are the avi-files?

The CamStudio Player plays the screen captured avi-files from a location C:\Program Files\CamStudio\XYZ . However, when I try to locate the files for editing purposes, there is no directory C:\Program Files\CamStudio\XYZ - but CamStudio Player still can open the files saved therein. Looks very strange. BTW: the Windows search function does not find any of the files that are available (and saved) to the directory used by the CamStudio Player.

What I can do: Using the CamStudio Player open file function and the mail the file (it is not possible to simply copy the file to another directory - message: file not found).

Used: Win 7 Prof, German language version, latest update, camstudio 2.0

Go to Options> Program Options >Temporary Directory for Recording and set the directory you want to use.

Go to Options> Program Options >Name for AVI File and set the file naming method you want to use.
