Why do people ask questions on this website when you can go on google or bing?

wouldnt a search website be a lot faster?

A lot of questions that are asked on ehelp require a person's opinion or advice. If I were to search my questions on google they wouldn't have the good answers and help that I get on ehelp.

Some of the questions asked here are about specific situations that aren't on search sites, some are asked by people that can't find what they're looking for but most realize you have to go through pages and pages of products sales before you can find any information on search sites. In short, Google and Bing are about money, Ehelp is about help.

I see eHelp as a good place to bounce things off of people who aren't so immersed in a situation that they might be able to see something that I don't. That's not something you can get from a search rhythm algorithm... yet.
