how do I fix the sound on my windows media player?

How you fix it depends on what's wrong with it.

Sound level down or muted in Media Player
Speakers not plugged in.
Sysyem volume is low or muted.
Sound source not selected in volume properties
Incorrect or no sound driver on the system.
No Codec installed for the type sound file you're trying

I cant not burn a cd from my windows media player I need help it want work on my cds and there cd-r and I have mp3
