Dad HELP Part 1: Continued from mom part 1 (same person asking)

My dad has raised me until up to age 18. I moved out on my 18th birthday. I havent spoken to him in 1 year. He abused me physiclly and mentaly. He called me stupid and retard for 18 years of my life (mental part) . He use to beat me. I dont know how many times I went to my local police department and they didnt do a thing. I went there 3 times. I was underweight. I moved south to go to college. (im in college now). I gained 40 pounds since I been in college. The eye doctor said I could have gone blind if I didnt get glasses. (didnt have glasses before). My dad's side opf my family has a horrible temper. My grandma has a bad temper too. I heard he is getting sergery in a few weeks
Should I call him and talk to him (Hes a hardhead- stubborn)

I wouldnt want to speak to him ever again. What he did to you and said was totally out of line and just plain child abuse. He may be getting surgery but he sould have been protecting you instead of such an awful crime. Im so sorry about this.
