From within a program click on File/Save and navigate to the folder then click 'Save."

To save it to a different folder or different file name, use, "Save As."

To move it from one folder to another, Load Windows Explorer [not Internet Explorer] clcik the down arrow on the Address bar and navigate to the file. Right click and select either 'Cut' or 'Copy.' Navigate to the folder you want to put it in, right click and select 'Paste."
