Can you fall in love with someone you have never met?

for nearly a year now iv been talking to this boy I met over the internet. Hes 18 and im 14 we arentt going out because we have never met but we both havee feelings for each other and are waiting until we meet to see if we have chemistry. Do u think its strange ,1 because we have never met and 2 the age difference , that I love him more than iv eever loved someone before?

I think you can love somone you've never met.
The same thing is happening to me as well.
I'm 15 and he's 18.
And me and him live Thousands of mile's away from one another.
And we truly love one another.
But you still half to be carefull about people over the internet, I still don't FULLY trust the man I met, but me and him do love each other.

But yes, I do think you can love somone that you have never met.
I know that feeling, it's like even though you have never met, you feel, like you've known that person your entire life.
Or thats the way I feel atleast.

It isn't legal for a 14-year-old (or a 15-year-old) to be involved with an 18-year-old. Pursuing this isn't a good idea and it could land him in jail for a very long time even if you "consent" because the law believes a 14-year-old cannot legally consent.

... Sure, it's possible to fall in love with someone you've never met, but in that situation it is difficult to know when you're in love with the *idea* of the person or the *idea* of being in love, or if it's just puppy love or hope.

Even if you don't have sex, he could still possibly be charged with soliciting a minor.
