Is Polish easy for an English speaker?

Polish is one of the most difficult for an English speaker aside from the symbolic languages of Asia and the Middle East.

No, it's just as hard as English for a Polish speaker. The main difficulty is that letter "r" is pronounced differently. It takes time and effort to learn and get used to it. The anvantage might be letter "ł" which is pronounced like "w" in English while letter "v" does not exist in Polish alphabet because it's replaced by "w" ("w" is pronounced like "v" in English). For Polish who learned English and speak like native English speakers and didn't speak Polish for a tens of years might be hard to speak nice polish accent again.
