How to make sure whether we are friends or lovers?

I have a friend (we r both guys), we spend loots of time together but the thing is I don't know what kind of relationship we have! sometimes we act normal, other times we have romantic moments and looks! ... he looks at me with love, don't like it AT ALL when I talk to other friends, message my hand softly, plan for a trip (just the 2 of us), he hasn't EVER said no to a request or an offer I make! ... but in the other hand! he talks about his girlfriends!!! who change on a daily bases! and how he had fun wiith girls and had sex with some!! ... I'm really confused! don't know what kind of relationships do we have!! HELP! :S
