Why my emachines 525 doesnt record my voice while making video?

i also have skype and I can hear sound but the others cant hear my voice.

also I heard IMCapture for Skype ( www.imcapture.com) is a good call recorder too, anybody used it?

Hmmm sounds to me that the computer has no way of recording your voice. I did a little research and discovered that your computer has no built in microphone. That's why it doesn't record your voice. To fix that you'll need to buy a headset or microphone

actually I bought a mini microphone but it didnt work,i think I will need a headset like u say,,thanks for ur help,have a great day:)

hmm if you're buying a headset I would recommend a microsoft one. I cant remember what its called but I think its just the standard one by them.

To add to what my friend night_angel said, double click on the speaker in the tray at the bottom and load the mixer. Select Options/Properties and click on recording. Make sure external microphone is enabled, that the volume setting is adequate and not muted in the mixer.

thank u so much dear rob,,i will try my best with a headset cause the small microphone obviously doesnt work,,at the end im gonna have to bring my laptop to an expert in computer cause I dont know much about computers:) beautifull day my friend!
