What country in Asia has had the most violent protests that police couldn't even handle

I don't know if it was the "most violent" but in April, the situation in the Central Asian nation, Kyrgyzstan became so violent the president had to flee the country. If the police had control, I would assume there would be no reason for him to leave.

i think it was in kashmir in june 2010! the protests had left more than 115 people dead ! the protests were so violent and uncontrollable that the J&K police had to call the army for controlling the situation..! bt still the protests continued for like 3 months .!!!!
