Whats wrong with my switch?

when I turn off the switch to my garbage disposal it comes on but want turn off. if I turn the switch on it kicks off my dishwasher too. I thought replacing the socket in which I have them both plugged would work, but it didn't, it just kicks the breaker out. Help please.

You might want to call a repair man about that. Something is messing with you system, that's causing it to mess with other machines.

Either your switch is defective or wired incorrectly. You may have a loose wire. Have someone look at it that understands how it is supposed to be wired.
