Make sleep mode not sleep mode?

How do I make it where I can put my computer into sleep mode and all programs will still work??

Like A Private Server.
I want to run it and put the computer into sleep mode but then when I do the server goes offline for all then I take it out of sleep mode and it goes back on

how do I make it were I can disable sleep mode but still put it in sleep mode??
