Spider Bite or Stomach Virus?

I got bit by a spider (unknown kind) and the next day is when I started to notice the itch. the next morning, I had diarrhea, and was a little nauseous. A rash developed around the bite, and got to the size of my hand. I put some cream on it, and this morning the rash is gone. I am experience a slight fever, chills, body aches, and some stomach pains. I went to the doctor, and she prescribed some antibiotics. Should I seek further help?
