It's your life you should do what you want. You are 19. You are spending your own money. They have no legal way to stop you. If you want to go, then they can do nothing about it.

because girls have high opinions of what guys should be and we always disappoint. stop criticizing everything he does and stop giving him trouble for stuff he does naturally. my gf does the same thing to me all the time. she doesn't understand and is always giving me shit for stuff I don't to on purpose, just being me. I say that to her all the time.

alright, dude. our reason is because sometimes... yer guilty of the things we acuse you of. ANYHOO... im not so sure. I know what thats like. but to tell you the truth, I would confront him about it. he shouldnt be able to get away witht his stuff. and I know ya dont wanna be that girl thats over-powering. I know. but still.confronting him is maybe the best thing you can do.
