Im 28 years old I need to be adopted , whats are the rules for that?

You cannot be adopted after the age of 18, at that point you are considered independent, and thus ineligible for adoption.

I'm 14, I want to be adopted, I know I've got it made and all but I threatened my parents that I'd kill myself if they lay another hand on me, I won't I'm just trying to scare them a bit, but I need to be adopted, it's a long story why, so please somebody help me i'm begging you...
