it could be a proprioception problem. I have big sensory processing problems (sensory processing disorder) with different senses but mild with proprioception: sometimes when Im eating and am not thinking about it I'll bite my tongue. If its that its no big deal, you usually just have to learn to live with it. sorry!

It's because our tongues and our cheeks, hold our food, and they just get in the way sometimes....It happens much more frequently, when you eat fast, so just slow down the chewing....you'll have more control over things in there.
