First of all, it's spelled "dimensions". If God is a spirit, and we are physical humans, then we are not exact duplicates, which the words "image" and "likeness" refers to. Being in the image and likeness of God would mean then that we have qualities like him, much more so than any animal can have.
This means things like love, justice, wisdom, power, along with the one thing that no other creature has: free will. Animals act on instinct, but humans have the ability to reason and think for themselves.

Image is a physical likeness or representation of a person, animal, or thing. Genesis 1:26 says: "then God said: 'Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness,....' Being made in God's image, means humans have the capacity to reflect godly attributed. We should try to cultivate such qualities as love, mercy, kindness, goodness and patience, reflecting the One that made of us. But as we see many people do not reflect those qualities and that raises a question, why? A website that helps to answer that is www.jw.org. It also helps us to see how we can cultivate those qualities and also the promises for the future for those who cultivate those qualities.
