What has less calories when cooking. vegetable oil or olive oil.

We are cooking some onions and peppers that will go into a chili recipe

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure olive oil. Either way, just check what it says on the bottle. I suggest you multiply the calories by the number of servings and then divide by how much you're going to use.

calories are the same. olive oil is better if you want the flavor. also has more
unsaturated fats than some others. canola (rape seed) is also very good.

Thank you for your help. But please check out canola oil- it is not real oil.
It is manufactured. I have chosen not to use it.
