What's the difference between LED TV and LCD TV?

LED-Light emitting dioad...I believe this has multiply light each with its on color code but together proudices a picture.

LCD- is liquid crystal display....On this topic not sure much more then that

There is little bit difference between LED and LCD tv. The technology used is quite different and the picture quality is also different. The Quality f LED is good and nowadays people preferred to buy these TV.

The fluorescent lights in an LCD TV are always behind the screen. On an LED TV, the light emitting diodes can be placed either behind the screen or around its edges. The difference in lights and in lighting placement has generally meant that LED TVs can be thinner than LCDs, although this is starting to change.
