I have a bunch of avi files, how do i put them on a dvd?

what software or converter or WHATEVER do i need to make dvds with my avi files.

Well to put them onto a dvd, you just need to burn a data dvd, which you don't need any software for. Just put a blank dvd in your dvd drive, drag them onto the drive, then click burn in the upper left corner. However if you want it to play in a dvd player, you need to convert them to Mpeg (type-2) which is the standard for dvd players (Mpeg type-2 will play on any dvd player). Once they're converted, then you will still need to burn it as a dvd, not just onto a dvd. So I suggest you download Nero. Nero isn't free, but there's a free trial, and with Nero you can both convert and burn your videos properly so they will play on a dvd player.
