How can i obtain my drivers licenses/permit in delaware without going through school?

I'm 16 years old and I live in Delaware.
I'm a mother of a four month old baby and I currently work full-time about 40 miles away from me. I can barely make it to work some days let along take my daughter day-care. I go back to school next week through groves, but i'm going to be taking online classes at home through the school. I heard from several different people that I am able to obtain my license or permit other ways, but they didn't know how to go about it and i'm really in a struggle right now. It would be extremely helpful to be able to drive. If anyone knows anything that could help or even point me into the right direction, I'd very much appreciate it.

Have you gone to the motor vehicle department and explain your situation? Sometimes your parents can sign full responsibilites until your 18, given your special situation. If not you could emaciate yourself from your parents therefore the courts would then consider you an adult. I use to live in Maryland and they had changed to law that you had to be 18yr old and had driving lessions before you could get a license, I move to florida when I was 19 and in 2 weeks I had my license and a vehicle, but in your case thats a little extreme.
