I'VE BEEN ON DRUGS FOR OVER 15 YEARS

Okay. So you have an addiction, well I have an addiction but not to drugs. If you are willing to quit at the point it kills you or damages your health or you get in trouble for it, then that does not solve the problem. It is mainly a decision that you have to make if you want to quit or not. If you are using them as anti-depressents then stop and figure out another way to calm yourself down. Usually once you are addicted it is hard to stop unless you cut back because consequences or some event occurs. People have less pity, on people who are addicted to porn, drugs or alchahol because they choose to and it is inappropriate behavior but try to stop the circumstance and help or stay out of the situation. Consult the doctor for assistance or go to a rehab program. If that does not help then I can not say much more for the matter. My father had the same problem and cut back but did not totally quit. My brother smoked a lot in a month and cut back. We had to do some serious convencing and family counseling.

I'm also an addict, I've been doing dope and smoking weed for a very long time. It's not easy trying to get clean and i'ts even harder staying clean. Every where I go in this town I run into people that i've done dope with. You can't go know where the grocery store, gas station it's every where. In fact I live across the street from people that have more traffic than the casinos in this town. Get yourself into Narcotics Annonomous it's free and it works. Good Luck!

I'm also an addict. Theresa is right. na works. I used for about 15 yrs. too.I am now sober and happy to be sober. my mom says S.O.B.E.R. means sun of a bitch everythings real. yep it's real but it's not as bad as i thought it was when i was using.
