What type of power cord do I need for my Xbox 360?

It's a proprietary plug. That means that Microsoft made this plug for Xbox 360, and it will only work with Xbox 360, and only this cable will work on Xbox 360's. Basically: Nothing except the Xbox 360 power cable will work on the Xbox 360, you have no other options. It has no special name either. If you lost or broke yours, you can probably get a replacement one at Gamestop or Bestbuy, I'm not completely sure about this though. I'm positive you can get one online though. Point is: Don't try anything other than an Xbox 360 power cable, it runs at a specific voltage, and anything that either doesn't fit, or runs at a different voltage, or even different amperes could permanently damage your Xbox 360 resulting you in having to buy a new system. Seriously, don't cheap out on this, just buy a real legit new one, no matter how much it costs, it will be cheaper than a new system.
