How long does it typically take for someone to buy a textbook on Ebay?

I just set up all of my books for sale on half.ebay.com (which I guess is a part of ebay that helps you with pricing and its just a "buy it now" kind of thing instead of auction) and am waiting for them to be sold. How long should I wait before I change the price I am selling for? How do I know when it is sold? How often should I check it?

I literally just made this account and haven't sold anything yet. Do you think someone would buy from an account that has a 0 next to it?

It really depends. If there is a demand what you're selling would sale rather fast. I would check it every day that way if it does sale you will know and be able to promptly ship. You will be notified when you check it if the item has sold. If your books don't sale by the time your sale expires I would drop the cost then. Or if you're in a hurry to sale drop the price if nobody has bought in the next 2 days or so. An yes people will buy even if you have no rating, I sold my item fast when I first signed up. Good luck!
