You didnt' really provide enough information to form a good enough answer. Are you literally plugging your camera in, or do you have a card reader made for your camera? What kind of card is it? How does it plug in? USB 1.0, USB 2.0, firewire 400, is it an internal or external card reader etc.

But it is probably either broken, the port your plugging it into is broken, or it doesn't have the necessary drivers. You can try looking up drivers for the card reader on the manufactures website.

Try to install your camera driver if you have already install the driver reinstall it from device manager. If this is a software issue it can be solved easily but if there is problem in the hardware (USB) you have to repair your computer or change your hardware.

If you live in USA you call Askpctechies for help. They provide best computer repair services.

If you are using a third party software to check for driver updates, I would uninstall it, especially if it is something like UniBlue. These apps are mostly junk that tricks you into thinking several drivers are out of date when in fact they are not. Best choice is using Windows Update and the computer’s manufacturer support website, such as, to look up your computer and Windows version, and check to see if there are any updates listed for your system.
