first make sure power is still geting to any speakers your using because my old speakers stopped working because the cord had been steped on so much it stoped working
to test if its the cord try headphones just to see if sound comes out if it does u need new speakers or a speaker cord
if still nothing try the volume controle at the bottom right hand corner
and not to sound like a jerk but make sure the volume nobe on the speakers are on

It concerned which medium you using to listens music. If you using speaker for music then there may be fault in speaker wire. If you have internet connection then you can use SoundCloud platform to listen track. You can upload your own music and you can use various combo packs for SoundCloud promotion.

Try to re-install your sound driver.Your laptop audio chip got problem inside ,that is why you cannot play the sound.
Just Go to device manager and uninstall the Sound driver and restart, unit will install the driver automatically.
Try doing System restore to the date when the unit was working fine.
Try to update the driver from online technical support website for Audio & Bios.
Or you can easily search online PC support services to resolve your problems.
