Will bank decline a charge on my debit card if I dispute the charge.

After check out of motel ,they called me and accused me of smoking in the room .I did not .while outside in designated smoking area I used my cigeratte pack as an ashtray (empty pack) I then went back to my room still had my cigeratte pack in my hand to throw it away in the trash can ,they said they found ashes in my trashcan and that's what they are going by to charge me for smoking in the room ,will my bank decline this charge if I call them and tell them that I dispute charge
