Using a filtered view, you can exclude the countries from Google Analytics. In this way, you can track data from a countries you want that is spread across the globe.
Here are the simple steps that we follow at Radon Media to exclude the traffic from a country. -
1. Go to the Admin section and navigate to the account you want to create a filter.
2. In the account column, click on "All filters".
3. Click on "+ New Filter" and Name the filter.
4. Select custom filter.
5. Then select exclude.
6. Select Country in the Filter Field.
7. Type in the name of the country(Russia in your case) in the Filter Pattern Field.
8. Click "Verify" to check if the filter is applied correctly. Remove the errors if any.
9. Save the filter.
Make sure you create this filter in test view first since the chance of data loss is more when you directly create it in master view.
