I have never heard of this behavior, but I seems she wants attention for her and her kittens. Try petting them all. Maybe she is trying to get your attentions about her kittens or maybe she wants you to take care of the, like giving them up. Just to be sure, ask a vet or a cat behavior specialist.

Your scent is probably on the kitten, therefor she doesn't want it. A few years ago, my 2 year old runt gave birth and she wanted absolutely nothing to do with any of the kittens and that was because I wasn't thinking and I decided to touch them when their eyes weren't opened. And then my cat killed them all. So be careful and make sure your cat doesn't kill it.
