1. sign in your account.
2.Select the “Trouble signing in?” This should be under the “Sign In” button on the Sign In box.
3.Choose “Recover your password” then enter your Yahoo username in the field provided. Select the “OK” button to continue.
4. The next screen will show you some options on how you can recover your account by resetting your password. If you’ve provided a backup or recovery email address and/or a mobile number, these will be listed here.
Select the email address or mobile number Yahoo will use the password reset instructions, then select the “OK” button. You will get the instructions or link from the recovery email address or mobile phone.
There’s no option to recover the password by answering the security questions on the mobile apps.
5.The password reset instructions will direct you to a page where you can reset your password. Type in your new password twice and select the “Next” button.
6.Now your account is completely secured and you’ve successfully recovered your Yahoo account
