What parts of Seattle should I avoid moving to?

i just accepted a job in Seattle and im not sure which areas I should avoid getting an apartment in. im going to be on a very tight budget for the first 2 years so im looking for a cheap apartment that isnt in a dangerous neighborhood. I currently live in Minneapolis and I live in a studio apartment for $1100 a month and im hoping to spend the same in Seattle. I know its not going to get me a nice place but so long as I can walk around my neighborhood at night without worry then im ok. all the websites I go to say there are a lot of apartments in Seattle in that price range but I dont know if they are in good neighborhoods.
