What might be the best course of action to finally reach that “fair and unbiased justice system?"

Walker, Spohn and Delone in the book “The Color of Justice, 5th Edition” have painted a rather bleak picture of racial discrimination in both our society and the criminal justice system.

It can be argued that strides have been made (it is not as bad as it once was), but we still have a long way to go before we can make the claim that our society and our criminal justice system are fair and unbiased toward all men and women.

What might be the best course of action to finally reach that “fair and unbiased criminal justice system?” Don’t claim that it is an impossible dream – rather come up with a strategy or strategies that will at least move us in the right direction.
