Will empolyer for apprentership know ive been to uni?

so I hate uni! doing nursing its just not for me! so anyway I'm in the procedure of leaving ive telt the uni, however I applied for dental nursing apprenership and got an interview in 2 weeks they asked or the phone if I have been to uni and I said no :L just I paniced, I haven't even finished my first year at uni but know I dunno what to say at the interview will they know or should I admit I have or will I not get the job now
