Can you give me advice about a college class?

I am going to be a junior this fall, and I have signed up for a college class I'm my local college. I signed up for fundamentals of art, for fun. But now I'm thinking whether it was a good idea or not. I could have taken another, maybe more important class that would have made my college time later cheaper. Like comp 1 or speech. Or is it alright if I take an easy load that I know I will do good with while getting ready for other college classes I will take...
Does that make sense? Please let me know what you think, hopefully someone has knowledge over concurrent students and college
