Which would be the best alternative to the classic inca trail trek?

I'm planning a trip to Peru

Look at us, Alpaca Expeditions. We have been #1 on TripAdvisor for the last 3 years and it is due to a lot of hard work and attention to detail. The owner was once a guide and even a porter and is equally dedicated to making life better for people in and around Cusco and to making sure his clients have a superb journey to Machu Picchu. He recently trekked with the Director of Tourism for the parks and a few other company leaders on the Inca Trail where they discussed different ways to help improve the park and focused on making life better for porters. And I believe the prices are better than the others suggested since it is 100% local in Cusco. http://alpacaexpeditions.com/

Hi. Nice to hear that you are planning a trip. It is a great place. I am also planning for the trip to Peru on this vacation. I have consulted "Green Peru Adventures" tour operator for my trip. Here are some alternatives to the classic Inca trail like Huchuy Qosqo Adventure Cultural Trek, Ausangate Trek Sivinacocha, Cusco and his People of Lares Valley with Machu Picchu. Hope it will help you.
