Is photography a good major for a career?

Should I even be thinking about photography now in my life, How would I go about finding me a job with a associate degree or would I need more education? I was born with a mild case of cerebral palsy but graduated with a 3.6 GPA so I was proud. While earning that gpa I took a vocational class at another school and that was media arts and I really liked that program I learned about Adobe premier and about the whole Adobe suit So my question is that should I go for it at community college or not? (And any tips on any other careers related using only Adobe Photoshop and illustrator and or using images.)

Now a day’s there are many photography companies available. I know INFINYTE Media is a very popular photography company. You can contact this for any information.
