Help what am I doing wrong?

Ive made like 7 meals of rice sometimes 2 or 3 potsin a day and they BURNED (I put in enough water, had in for ages) but the rice was still a bit crunchy, but the water was all dirty (brown) and tasted burned. I used to be a great cook because I put in all the effort to make gr8 home cooked meals now I seem to be miserably faling at it. Now I gotta skip dinner. I cant be bothered to try again.

Did you know that you can make a wonderful dinner before take out gets to your house? If you are burning rice, you are overcooking it or cooking at too high of heat. I suggest that you take your water - get it boiling on high heat, then add your rice and stir it in, then turn the stove down to low-medium (3-5 on your stove if that's how your stove operates). Cover and wait for about 15min - check but DO NOT STIR. If it's how you want it, then plate. I cook mine for 20min or so to where it will get nice and fluffy and sticky.

Try looking up Worst Cooks in America - they've got a great show and I've learned a bunch from it. :)
