Am I too young for a girlfriend?

I am 13 in 7th grade. I am very smart and mature about a lot of things, so I've been told. But I think I have realized that a girlfriend is a bad idea. I've been dating this girl since 6th grade. It's been 1 year and 8 months. Obviously we are both commuted to this relationship. But how do we know if we're in love? I hope this is what love feels like. I've seen her almost every day for 1 year and 8 months and she still continues to brighten up my day no matter what! I tell her I love her, and I'm not lying cuz I think I love her. My problem is that she is not as matured as I am. I'm not boasting or anything but I am very deep in my thoughts and think all the time, entirely too much. She told me that I am her world. And that to me means I have to support her no matter what! If she falls apart it's my fault. It's a big responsibility and it's kind of scary. So, can anyone help me determine if I truly am in love? And is being her world an issue?
