Can someone please help me find a solution to the constant crashing of APS-Ethos Program?

I have a brand new computer that is networked with a database or a server. I have one particular program, that no matter what, even if I have no other windows open, and I have the size of my virtual memory and ram increased, still becomes unresponsive, stalls, crashes, and shuts down. This is my primary tool. My job centers around the usage of this program. What can be done to prevent this or at least reduce the frequency of these instances? Is it in my computer, the program, the database\server? Reason for this? Is it crashing on my end because the stream of information from the server is going from a stream to a trickle because the database can't process fast enough or is it that the flow is flood level and my computer can't handle the tide? It's clear to me that I don't have the necessary knowledge to solve this problem but it also really affects my job performance. It seriously causes me a lot of frustration, wasted time, and re-work. The person here in charge of these things will not put in any effort in to solving the problem. I believe its because they do not have the knowledge and will not own up to it, they are unwilling to take the time needed to resolve it, unwilling to invest in either a solution or some one who can find one, and they are both the owners child and a partial owner so they are beyond reproach for inaction. Any help would be appreciated, suggestions, any thing. The program that I use is for embroidery digitizing, Made by GS USA\ Brother. "APS-Ethos, with Virtuoso plus. The go-to guy for them, Richard Bloedow, has been very amicable and I don't really believe its the program itself. Maybe improper installation, or the database is corrupted. etc. It most commonly happens while I am editing lettering and else where while using a 'satin-stitch'. And..NO..I avoid using the undo button because this will always cause it in any circumstance. This is all the information that I can think of that that I've noticed that is relevant to my problem. What I'm hoping to gain is enough knowledgeable insight so that I may present it to the President of the company, who is more of a majority owner and will force action to be taken. Its either that or I get fired or quit because I have quite literally had enough.
