What is the chemistry behind theranos?

I've been researching Theranos which is supposed to revolutionize how blood testing is done and unfortunately, I cannot find anything on the exact chemistry behind it. I am writing a paper on how new, innovative products involve chemistry, but Theranos has not released anything about how their technology utilizes it!

So my question is, does anyone have any sort of prediction for how Theranos works? Does not have to be correct, just needs to be from a chemistry perspective! Or even some more background information on the chemistry behind blood testing in general...
Thank you very much!
