Please help me with my cover letter!

I am currently applying for a bank teller position with a local credit union and I need help with my cover letter. I have only had 3 jobs in the last 18 years and these are the jobs reflected on my resume. The 1st 2 jobs are in the medical field and my current position is in telemarketing. However, I have over 6 years cash handling/customer experience and need help with incorporating this experience in my cover letter. Here is an example of my cover letter....

Dear Madam/Sir of Hiring Committee,

I'm writing to express my interest in the Financial Services Representative position that is posted on your website. Given my outstanding customer service, exceptional organizational skills and great enthusiasm, I would appreciate your consideration for this position.

My excellent communication skills allow me to communicate with customers, management and other staff members without difficulty. I also possess the following attributes which make me a perfect candidate for the position.

• Self-motivated with strong analytical and listening skills
• Problem analysis and problem solving
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Willingness to learn new skills quickly and efficiently
• Ability to answer phones professionally, utilizing exceptional phone etiquette
• Computer: MS Office, internet, email

I am confident that the above mentioned skills, along with my ability to function as an essential part of a team, would help me contribute effectively to your company’s mission.

My resume is attached and I welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss how my experience and skills would benefit your office. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
