Compatibility of free will and determinisml

When writing a philosophy paper defending a thesis of compatibility of free will and determinism, is it possible to combine the contexts of physics as shown by those like David Lewis, along with views relating to moral responsibility based on biology of freedom, as shown by Dan denett. Basically I wonder if it is possible for consistency for one theses of compatibility, if using both these contexts, to show incompatibility. I e a way to use physics and morality for one way in an essay to show compatibility. To of course gain a good mark.
