Repeating year 9

I was homeschooled my whole life until last year where I started going 2 days a week to a Steiner school. I then went full time in term 4 last yrI was in year 8 then. Year 9 now. I wasn't really making friends in my class (yr 8 &9) and mum suggested I repeat and yr 7 since I technically didn't do it (ish) and I knew a few kids in that class. I said no cause I thought it'd be awkward cause it thought I was 'friends' back then with my class. I regret that desicioun SO MUCH! This year the highschool Is now combined and we have a few classes with the yr 7 & 8 and I've finally made friends and they're all really nice. I hate my yr 9 10 class. There are 15 peeps in the whole highschool. Unfortunately the school only goes to year 10 so I'll have to leave at the end of next year. I'm thinking about repeating year 9 next year cause of friends, I won't have to go to another school and start again and I'm an average student, usually A s and B s. What are your thoughts?

Please you are smart and should not repeat grade nine for friends you can keep in contact and stuff. I think you could meet them on weekends and everything but do not repeat an other grade for them. I know I am probably sounding really mean but I think you should not repeat and still keep in touch with friends cause your future is important too

I understand what you mean. But the school I'll go to for yr 11-12 is 2 1/2 hours away from my current school. I travel an hour now to get to school one way and it'll take 1 hr 20 mins to get to the other school cause I live in the middle of mowhere. So it's a bit hard to catch up with them... But I do get your point. I'll keep thinking about it
